Adding a second user account

I have added a second user account without administrator
rights. Can the second user access all programs installed
on the computer. Can an administrator control which
programs are accessible to limited users. If so how is
this done? Many thanks
 
Hi,

The second user may need to have the programs installed while logged on
under their profile - it all depends on the software.

The admin may set permissions on the program folders to limit access, see
this article on running programs from limited user accounts:
