You have an underscore in your domain name, underscores are not a legal
character in domain names.
That being said, I'm not sure this would cause a lock up but I cannot say it
won't. You are pointing to yourself for DNS how DC2 should point to DC1 for
DNS you can use DC2 as the alternate DNS. Having two DCs pointing to
themselves for DNS can cause DNS to become an island. But still I cannot say
one way or the other if this will cause a lock up.
Just to verifiy everything is working as it should run dcdiag /e /v from
both machines and netdiag /v from both. Look the outputs over for errors.
