Adding a Query to the Main Swithboard

I am trying to run a query from the main switchboard, however I can not figure out how to link my query to the switchboard. Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can provide.

One of the problems using the Switchboard created by the built-in
switchboard manager is that it is not very versatile.
While the coding can be modified, the easiest way to run a query is to
create an Open Query macro that runs the query.
Then you can edit the switchboard to run the macro. There is a Run
Macro command.

It's a pain.

Best to create your own switchboard using command buttons. If you use
the wizard to set up the buttons, it will even write much of the code
for you.
 
Hi,

Go to tools, add-ins, switchboard manager. Create a new
switchboard item which opens your query. Save and close -
when you reopen, it should be there.
