Adding a program to the "Open With" facility in My Pictures

I would like to be able to right click on a picture in My Pictures and open it with the program of my choice. I know I can choose or browse for other programs but it would be useful to have the program more readily available when I want it
Is it possible to add a program to the "Open With" facility or, in fact, to remove one if I don't want it? If it is, what file path do I need to follow to get to edit "Open With"

Any help would be appreciated.

This can be done by editing the applicable OpenWithList registry
entries. For more information see the following document:

I forgot to add my usual boilerplate warning in my previous message...

Changing or deleting registry entries can cause you to have to
reinstall the whole operating system. Before you run the Registry
Editor I recommend that you understand how to backup, edit and restore
the registry. For more information see the following Microsoft
