I would like to download, organize, and run, photos and video clips from my
camera, using Picasa2. However, this option is not shown on Vista. How can I
add it?

Hi,

Contact the software vendor to see if they can add this as an option. To be
included in the autoruns requires that the software's installer be written
to include certain registry entries.

It's been a while since I tried Picasa, but I thought thatt was a
configurable option within Picasa.

Additionally, Vista will probably see your camera as an external
storage drive, which means that you can setup something in Autoplay so
that when you plug the camera in, Picasa will open.

The strange thing is that when I used XP (a couple of months ago) the option
was there automatically.....
