Adding a Field to a User under Active Directory

Hi...

I need some help...i have created some users under Active
Directory, i want to add an extra field that is not in the
current defaults one, like for example..company emp ID:.,
can any body help me out in adding an extra field to the
current active directory users.

You will need to modify the schema to add another field.

It may be easier to rename an existing field, i.e. address 2 to what you
want instead.

I'm afraid I only know that this can be done, and not how to do this. I
would have to look it up. One of the MVPs will have done this already and
will be able to tell you how to do it. As far as I'm aware, the rename is a
very simple process.
