not so techy

I was emailed a new distribution list for our company. How can I add it as a
distribution list to my contacts in outlook 2007? When I open the
distribution list that was attached and I hit Save and Close, it does not
save to my contacts. When I try to Save As, I am not sure where to save it.

no, just save or save as.

I don't know where it is saving it... When I hit save and close, and then
look in my contacts, it is not there.

File>Move to Folder will allow you to store it to a non-default Contacts
folder. Save and Close should always save it to your default Contacts
folder.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem, Save & Close does not save the Distribution
list that was emailed to me in Outlook format. There is neither a trace of
the Distribution list in my Contacts after I hit Save & Close nor a trace of
individual contacts from the Distribution list under my Contacts. Any advice?

Ragnhildur.

"In Outlook format" means what exactly? The DL must be attached as an
Outlook Item in an RTF message for this to work. Verify that is the case.
