At work we have a branded powerpoint slide template and we're doing a
presentation were we'd like to keep the template for the first 6 slides but
then just have blank slides where we can paste some documents onto it.

Is there a way to add a blank and not bring in the slide master template?

Thanks
Erin

Erin,

You don't mention what version of powerpoint you are using.... but you could
do this....

format menu > background > tick the

omit background graphics from master

Then choose the background colour you would like.

Erinayn,

Go to Format > Background. Here you can change the background color and
check off Omit Background Background From Master. Apply this change to all
desired slides.

That worked great! Is there anyway to keep your page number that you know of...

and sorry.. it's version 2003.

If you have XP on you could maybe have a second master without the graphics.
That way the slide numbering will still work
