Word seems to be stable again. I don't have any problem but I just want to
remove the addin that I have. My computer has FineReader Professional 7 and
so its probably its addin in Word because the addin is called
'FineReader7.2003.dot' in Global Templates and Addins. I don't know whats
its use in Word so I want to remove it.
Of course I tried to remove it by unchecking it but it comes back when I
open Word again. The 'remove' button is grey.

You have to move the file out of Word's Startup folder so that it will not
load every time you start Word.

So whats the use of checkbox.
If I uncheck any addin from Global Templates and Addins, shouldn't the Word
prevent it from loading at start?
Otherwise Word should just list the addins with no checkbox if we are to
remove it from going to folder and delete it.

No, clearing the check box is simply unloading it from the current Word
session. As long as it is in the Startup folder, it will load again the next
time you start Word. The Templates and Add-ins folder deals with *all*
templates and add-ins, not just those in the Startup folder. You can load,
as a global template or add-in *any* template located anywhere on your
machine.
