I installed a new motherboard in my computer the other day and
installed windows that night when i went to reset it a few times when i
was installing software it went straight to my user and logged on i
didn't have a password set for my account. Then the next morning
before school i left my computer on while i was at school to download
something off of a friends ftp site. When i got home it was at the
switch user screen with 3 total users, 2 that didn't surprise me was
the guest account and my account then there was another account named
""xadministrator"". I tried to log onto it and it required a password,
so i tried the password that i assign to most my admin accounts and
that didn't work so i tried the generic password ""password"" and that
worked and nothing had been setup on that account. So i just logged out
and went back to my account later that night i realized that when i
pressed "ctrl+alt+delete" it came up with a error message saying ""Task
Manager has been disabled by your administrator" and then i tried using
"ctrl+alt+delete" on the xadministrator account and it did the same
thing but when i tried it on the guest account it worked perfectly fine
and task manager opened right up. I asked my father if he had done
anything to the computer since i guess maybe he'd like to know what I'm
using it for or something of the sort and he denied it. I was wondering
if anyone had any type of idea or anything and i was also wondering how
to reset the administrator rights on my computer.
