I used the security wizard and when it completed I closed
access and when attempting to reopen i get an error
message that sais "You do not have the necessary
permissions to use the <name> object. Have your system
administrator or the person who created this object
establish the appropriate permissions for you." How do I
get the logon box to appear so i can logon as adminstrator?

Hi Pamela

Have you read the Access Security FAQ? If not, then I *strongly* recommend
you go to http://support.microsoft.com/?id=207793 where you can download it
or read it on line. It clearly lists all the steps you should take to
secure your database properly.

When you ren the security wizard, it should have created a new "workgroup"
file (something.mdw). You need to open your database with that file:
"<path to Access>" "<path to your database>"
/wrkgrp:"<path to mdw file>"
