MS Access 2003 on Windows XP
Sequence of steps taken to date:
1. Created 7 tables
2. Established relationships (tools > relationships) with all tables using a
single primary key; the same value in each table (plate number)
3. Started a form using "form wizard" utilizing the seven tables as source
4. Halfway through development of a form I needed to add a new field to one
of the tables. Added field to table and saved.
5. Reopened form in "design view" and picked the "field list" tool to select
the new field and add it to the form.
The NEW FIELD IS NOT IN THE LIST though the other pre-existing fields
contained within the table are still in the list. WHY NOT?
Tried this at home with a practice database at home on version 97; no problem.
p.s. I did notice in my window title bar that my 2003 database is being
worked as a Access 2000 format if this makes a diffeerence
