Added contact not showing up on contact list window.

I have a user who has successfully added a new contact that we can see in his
contact list. But when he creates a new email, selects the "To:" button,
chooses contacts, he does not see the contact he just created. he sees all
other contacts but not the new one. I've searched lstname first and vice
versa. Again we can see the contact when we go into Contacts folder in
Outlook but not in the Contact list window. Has anyone run into this and
have a fix?

Does it have an email address? Can you see other contacts that are in the
same contacts folder? Do you have multiple contacts folders and is the one
with the new contact in enabled as an address book?
