I have a win xp home connected via an ethernet cable to a BT Voyager 2100
router. I have another XP pro connected wirelessly to my router. I want to
add my laptop w2000 which is currently connected via an ethernet cable
directly to my router. Want I want to do is transfer some large files from
my desktop to my laptop.

Set the win2000 to obtain an address automatically (DHCP). Share some
folders on each computer. Create an identical account username/password on
all computers. Log into the win2000 with this username/password. Ensure
XP's firewall is configured to allow LAN file sharing (or turn it off).
