Hmmmm.... strange.... from experience, when this happens it's sometimes a
command of some kind in the logon process that either fails or issues a
logout/logoff/shutdown command.
To get around that in many cases, we used the old 'press left shift key'
trick.
If you get the logon screen with the users, click one, type in the password
but don't hit enter.
Hold down the left shift key, then press enter. This used to bypass the
auto runs during logon. Or it was the right shift key. Too long ago to
remember.
Maybe it'll work here, at least to get you in.
