Was I supose to create the switchboard first and used it to create the table or can I still add the switchboard for the table that I already created.I just want to ADD a switchboard for the table with started all over. Thank you.

Hi Lilie
you'ld be better off posting in microsoft.public.access.gettingstarted

but a "switchboard" is a menu structure that allows you to give the users of
the database a list of things that they might like to do (add, edit data /
view reports etc) and it can be created at any stage in the development of
the database when you have things that you'ld like to put on it. Depending
on your version of access its found under tools / database utilities /
switchboard manager or tools / addins / switchboard manager

what i think you might be after is a form for the users to interact with the
table using ... forms are created in the forms objects section and if you
click on the new button you'll get a wizard that can help you create a form
based on your table.

Hope this helps
Cheers
