Anyone thinking of buying a Samsung item. Take great care. Their customer services are the worse I have ever come across in my life.
I paid £550 for a 19" tft 193T (I know, how much!!) anyhow, I did. After 3 months the thing stopped working. Samsung at this point won’t replace the monitor for a new one; they're replacing it with a reconditioned one. They even tried to under spec me by giving me a 192T.
After waiting 7 weeks they finally turned up with a reconditioned monitor. Now, after 3 months. This one has broken. They told me, again, they would have a replacememt to me within 4 working days. I have now been waiting 17 days and still nobody has turned up. Today, I decided to return the monitor to the shop where I bought it. Thankfully,they have swapped it for a Philips 190Xs. Thanks to Phil at PCworld in Warrington.
The moral behind this story is – FFS don't buy anything to do with Samsung.
