You can try deleting its folder from program files. If you succsseed, it
means that the software is inactive (probably uninstalled).
Regarding that it is still in add/remove programs, you can edit registry
(*be careful while doing that*) and remove the entry manually. Path should
be something like this:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

You will have to click on the keys, one by one, while you don't find what
you are looking for.

P.S. This is very, very dirty way of removing apps from your comp. You might
wait for some better advice then this one.

Regseeker is a free program that you can use to clean your registry. It will
attempt to find orphaned programs and remove all references to them and has
some other cool capabilities. It is always smart to select the option to
save changes until you are sure everything is functioning correctly. ---

It may sound crazy, but, sometimes I have had to reinstall a program, and apply
updates in order to thoroughly delete it.If the program we are trying to
delete has been laying dormant for an extended period, other changes we have
made to our comps. may have corrupted the original uninstall files.Don't
attempt Registry tweaks without educating yourself about the Registry
