Add/Remove Programs

Using Gateway Performance 1400 PC
newly installed Windows XP, but had same problem with
Windows ME

I can open "Add/Remove Programs" but when I do there is
nothing listed. and I have no way of uninstalling
programs.

I have just tried to do a compatibility test with
WindowsXP and again nothing shows up.

Anyone know how I can magically bring forth the invisible?

I don't know how you can display the contents of
add/remove,but I do know that the add/remove folder is
only a convenant place for program removal.All programs
listed here have their own removal setup,find the program
that you want to remove in your programs listing and see
if their is a option foe removal their,If not right click
on start then left click on explore, open the "program
files" folder and find the program their, then open each
folder of that program and you should find a icon that
says uninstall or unwise. I hope that this helps until
you figure out how to get the add/remove listing up.
