Hi everyone,
I understand that the above feature works on the primary hard drive. like
C:\. After my computer mysteriously crashed a week ago, I got a new hard
drive installed and it was made to be the primary one (120 GB Western
Digital EIDE). My older drive (80 GB Maxtor EIDE) now becomes secondary or
D:\. The store where I bought the Win XP Home computer last year
re-installed XP and some other applications (i.e. programs) on the 120 Gb
drive.
Now in the process of re-organizing my hard drives, I wish to move data
files to the 120 Gb drive, and re-format the older 80 Gb drive to house OS
and application files. How do I know which file is indeed the right one and
being in the correct drive when using Add/Remove Programs? I wish Microsoft
had added some enhancements to this feature so that one is certain about the
locations or paths of the programs involved. Are there any other
alternatives besides Add/Remove Programs feature?
I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks a lot.
