In
Although that was a feature of older versions of TweakUI, it's
not in the Windows XP versions.
The best way to do this is to reinstall the program, then
uninstall it properly, rather than just delete it. Failing that,
you can do it with a registry edit. See

OOPS. You're right. Another option that I think that I remember is is
just trying to uninstall from Add/Remove. If the appl. is already gone,
I think I remember Windows asking if the Add/Remove item should be
removed.

Although that sometimes works, it doesn't always. It can be worth
a try though.
My preference is still to reinstall and uninstall correctly,
because it can clean up more than just the Add/Remove Programs
entry.
