Add/Remove programs

I am using Windows XP home, with SP2.

When the Control panel - Remove/Add programs box displays the programs
installed there are about six programs displayed then a gap which is colours
blue, and black with white strips, then the rest of the programs, which I
have to scroll down some way to get to.

I obviously have a display problem with it, or it has become corrupted in
some way.

Does anyone know of a way to fix this please?

Thanks

Shane

Do you have Autocad installed? Run the edit on Kelly' site, line 226,
"Remove the White Space from Add or Remove":
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Instructions are at the top of the page.

Tried both the suggest reg hacks but neither work despite claiming to have
removed white space.
Any other suggestions would be great.
Thanks

Hi Friends, Hi Shane.
I've reported similar problem in my WinXP Prof SP2 Add/Remove panel. I see
some normal items then long black space become to black/white and black at
the end. There are no negative values in registry, no AutoCAD installed.

Shane I see so we must wait for next help or somebody.
We rae looking frwd to your suggestions
