Add/Remove programs question

I'm trying to clean up my poor ol' overloaded "C" drive,
but my XP Professional control panel doesn't want to
cooperate.

I have clicked on several programs to REMOVE, but they
don't go away. Even after I reboot, the errant program
still lists in the window to "Change/Remove".

One way to do it I know is to reformat "C" and start from
scratch... but that seems a bit extreme to me.

Any suggestions short of a pound of C4 would be
appreciated.

You can also try another Free-ware program called Windows
Configurater. It can be downloaded from
http://pcworld.com/35819. It can be used to remove fantom
listings from the Registry or to completely uninstall a
program from Add or Remove in Control.

Try Add-Remove Pro from Superwin
http://www.superwin.com/ffreewar.htm It is freeware.
