Hi

In my Windows XP Pro>Control Panel>Add & Remove Programmes the list has a
large area of nothing. There are eight items at the top a huge blank space
and the remainder at the end.

Can anyone tell me why there might be this gap of no entries and if I should
and can remove it?

Go to MVP Kelly Theriot's site here:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm

Click on "A" and scroll down the Add/Remove Programs section.

Hi

Sorry, I don't see anything in that link resembling the problem I
described.

Look again. Scroll down about 1/4 of the way to:

Add or Remove - White Space

AutoCad Fix
Autodesk Land Desktop 3 Fix

This is generally due to the DisplayIcon having a negative number. From
here you can either remove the negative number or remove the last
application listed: Start/Run/Regedit:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{}
