For a properly written application, their listings should be removed
from the Add/Remove applet upon removal. Since it did not, then there
are 2 ways about it. The first is to re-install the applications and
remove them via Add/Remove. The second is to open the Windows Registry
and do manual deletions there. The latter is not recommended for those
who are not familiar with the Windows Registry or do not have a backup
of it.
