Hi,
When I first connected my digital camera to my new Windows Vista 64 bit
computer, it was immediately recoginzed. When I connect it subsequently, I
get the AutoPlay dialog box. I bought the version 7.0 upgrade of Adobe
Photoshop Elements (PSE7) and installed it. I was disappointed that it did
not appear in the AutoPlay dialog box for my camera. From within PSE7 I can
initiate a successful photo download. I contacted Adobe tech support, and
they said
""""
When the 64-bit editions of Windows XP and Windows Vista detect that a new
device or media has been connected, they do not recognize 32-bit
applications as programs that can be used to download or manage the content.
""""
Is there some way I can add any program of my choice to the AutoPlay dialog
box for a device or media?
Thank you,
Dan Jameson
