.
Go to start menu and select run and type in msconfig and
the system configuration utility will pop up. Go to the
far right and click on startup and check the program you
want to run and hit apply and restart your pc. Also if
you want your pc to boot faster, uncheck all the programs
that are checked that you don't use. dv...

Alternatively, if the programme is listed on the All Progams menu, you can
drag-and-drop ( Holding down Rt. button, drag to the 'expanded' Start Up on
the same All Programs menu > release at destination and select Move Here on
the context menu) a duplicated icon, with a (2) appended, of the programme
(Rt. click > select Create Shortcut).

If the desired programme is not on the All Programs menu, look for it in the
expanded Folder Tree in the Lt. pane of My Documents window. Then Rt. click
it and select, on the context menu, Send To > Desktop (create shortcut).
Rt. button drag-and-drop this desktop icon thus created to 'expanded' Start
Up on All Programs menu ( On Desktop, while holding down the Rt. button,
drag the newly created icon to the Start button; still holding down the
button, stop and wait till All Programmes menu appears; with Rt. button
still down, move to and wait over Start Up to expand it; drop the icon on
the expanded Start Up menu and select Move Here; to see the target location
and decide where exactly you want to drop is facilitated by a dark
horizontal bar).
