Running XP home. I can open Add/Remove but clicking on anything doesn't
launch uninstall. I can get to some uninstall links via the start menu and
they are uninstalling from there.

Any ideas? Can I "reset" Add/Remove via a registry hack?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Have you tried cleaning the Windows Registry using a Registry Cleaner?

http://www.tune-up.com/ TuneUp Utilities 2006 contains a Registry
Cleaner and other good stuff. This program may fix your problem. 30-Day
free Trial Period.

Have you tried running Windows System Restore?

Yes, have used registry mechanic as well as running full anti-viris and
spyware programs.

Hi Mark,

Does Registry Mechanic have the ability to correct problems?

Do this to test a theory:

Download a computer program you may or may not want. Suggest Tuneup
Utilities 2006 from
this link: http://www.tune-up.com/. Install it. 30-day Free Trial Period.

Look it over. Then go to Add or Remove Programs and see if you can
uninstall it. See what happens. Can you uninstall it thru Add or Remove
Programs. If you can, I submit a process in a program, may have remove the
ability to use Add or Remove programs to Uninstall programs thru Add or
Remove Programs.

I already know that it does uninstall. But I use it all the time. It has
the ability to repair.
