add or remove programs doesnt work when i click on it the
message value creation failed " at line 521
could someone plz help

I ran into this same exact problem after installing SP1 and using the
"Forever Blue" theme/Styles XP. Change to a standard XP theme. Use
Add/Remove. Then reinstate your preferred theme.

Hi,

1. Right click desktop and select properties.
2. From the Themes tab select another theme like "Windows Classic" and
click Apply.
3. Now open Add/Remove programs
4. Now change back to "Windows XP"
