Hi,

Is it possible to add or customize "Layouts" on the "Photo Printing Wizard".
This application in windows XP is quite good, but somehow limited on the
available Layouts.

In particular I would like to get a layout like the existing "contact sheet
prints", but that would only show 6 pictures per page. This kind of layout is
good for me because it won't "crop" the pictures and it shows the pictures in
its original rotation.

Thanks in advance for all the help you can give me.

The answer is no.
However you can do this with this free software:
www.irfanview.com

After you install this software you open an image in the folder you want.
After the image opens, click on File and Thumbnails on the opening menu and
do what you want as far as number of images you want on a sheet.

I can't advise how to get exactly what you asked for, but there's a way around it to get a similar result: photos printed in multiples per page without cropping.

In the Printing Options part of the Photo Printing wizard, go to Printing Preferences. In Finishing, select Pages Per Sheet, and the layout order if you wish. OK this to return to the wizard. In the Layout Options, choose the Full Page Fax Print, rotated and centered (but not cropped). Number of times to use each picture remains at 1. Continue on to print - you should get your photos printed out uncropped but resized to fit as many as you selected per page. Hope this helps!

Heidi: Thanks, that works great. I wanted to print 4-up without cropping. Windows Viewer only had 4-up (3.5x5) with cropping. So I told my printer to print 4-up and bingo! BTW, I'm using mail merge to insert text from a spreadsheet into these pages, and mail merge works fine with this too.
