Hi,

I've got a new employee that works in a different country than mine.
I need to connect her outlook to the exchange server like all the other
users (not by pop).
Is it possible without her signing even once inside the domain?

Thanks.

YOu may want to post this in an Exchange group for a better answer, such as microsoft.public.exchange.admin.

Have you looked at RPC over HTTP in Outlook 2003 or later?

Sue - I've got the RPC enabled - but it is used only after connecting when
the user is already in the domain...

and Milly, I posted this in Servers->Exchange->Outlook->Outlook new users,
isnt it the right place?

thanks,

Alon

If it's set up correctly, RPC over HTTP will allow a user to connect to the server using its https:// URL. The discussion forums for dealing with the configuration issues are microsoft.public.exchange.admin and microsoft.public.exchange.clients.
