You may want to gently tap the F1 key - Why didn't I think of that...?
Tap the F1 key now. Search on - music

Set a background sound for a page
You can set a background sound for a page. When a site visitor opens the
page, the sound is played. You can play the sound continuously, or play it a
specified number of times.

Note This feature is not supported by all Web browsers.

In Page view, right-click the page, and then click Page Properties on the
shortcut menu.
On the General tab under Background sound, in the Location box, type the
sound file you want to play, or click Browse to locate the file.
To play the sound continuously, select the Forever checkbox.
To play the sound a fixed number of times, clear the Forever checkbox, and
enter the number of times you want the sound to play in the Loop box.

You need to import any files to be used in a web, into the specific web
prior to using them within the web.

This is how I added music to a FrontPage 2002 web page.
First of all I used MusicMatch to convert .wav and .cda
files to .mp3 format and compress them as much as
possible. I imported the .mp3 files into my web(File >
Import), created a page with info about the musician and
inserted a little graphic on the page with a hyperlink to
the .mp3 files. Click on the graphic and you hear the
music!
