Add more results per page

Hello, I would like to add more results per page of a report. I would like
to have a minimum of 100 results per page. They are all one line entries, so
having to flip through all those pages is cumbersome. Any ideas?

Just make your detail section smaller if you are trying to squeeze more onto
the page. Or make your margins smaller.

I'm not sure I am understanding your question. Access will fit as many
details on the page as will fit.

So what's the problem? How many rows fit per page is controlled by the
height of the sections, the size of the font you use and the margin
settings. If you see lots of "white space" then you need to go into design
view and clean it up.

If your rows are narrow, then you might need to change your PageSetup so it
uses Newspaper style columns so you cna have multiple columns per page.

I have a feeling that you are talking about a form on the screen rather
than a printed report, true?

If so, open the form in design view and set the form property "Default
view" to "Continuous form". That should do it.
The smaller the font you use, the more lines you can get on the screen
(especially when you have a large screen and set the resolution at
1600x1200 or higher).

Actually, you are half correct. After I generate the report, I am saving it
in html for the web. They are very long alphabetical lists. Again, just like
you would specify when doing a search at say for example YAHOO, I desire to
specify that the report show 100 entries PER PAGE. The size of the font does
not rally play a role here. The font is 8 point and the rows are very narrow.
It is the amount of RESULTS that I want on each page to be specified.

What you suggested about setting a 'continuous' result won't work because
there are so many entries. I have to be able to specify an exact amount to be
generated on each page.

Couldn't you then set a user defined paper size that would give you 100
lines?

Just install the driver for a printer that allows you to specify paper with
the length you need. Select that printer with user defined size just before
you export to html.
