Add machine to Domain

Hi

I recently purchased a Toshiba laptop with Windows XP Media Center v 2002.
I have the network cable plugged into the network adapter, however when I
navigate to My Computer, Properties, Computer Name. The option to add the
machine to the office domain is unavailable. Is it possible to add this
machine to a network and if so what needs to be done.

Best bet would be to contact your network admin. Media Center has no domain
access anyway.

You can use MCE in a peer-to-peer (workgroup) network, but you can not join
a domain. MCE is a superset of Windows XP Professional in all respects but
one--it isn't able to join a domain.
