Add LPT1: port

For some unknown reason, I no longer have LPT1: port listed in my registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Ports

Without LPT1: one of my software programs will not work...

How do I add LPT1: to my registry?
