Add Internet Explorer to Vista's Desktop (FxDeskie 1.2)

Or you could just right-click the desktop, add new shortcut, browse to
iexplore.exe........ ;-)
 
That is a shortcut, not a system icon then.
In other words the right click functionality differs...

This was made for people who want to go to the Iexp. options fast...
 
They removed it from RTM. It was there up to RC2 and subsequent drops.

So they did. I still have the icon on my desktop, though. I wonder if it's
because I updated to RTM over RC2.
 
It's not a "supported" upgrade route.

It does work, and worked well, for me.

I rarely change the settings in IE. I can just as well do it in IE from
the Menu Bar. No need to clutter the desktop.

Besides, real men don't use IE anyway. ;-)
