Add info, now two contacts!

If I add info to my Ipaq, and then sync with outlook, it
creates a new contact with the added info in it. How can I
stop having outlook add a new contact when it's supposed
to slimply update an existing one?
 
Sounds like an active synch issue. I have used 4 Outlook versions and 2 Palm
units and have not had this problem. My guess is there is a reconciliation
setting in activesynch you have to change.
