I have added some standard add-ins to Excel - ExcelUtilities.xla,
CodeCleaner.xla, etc. I did not have them in the folder I wanted, so I moved
them. Now whenever I open Excel, I get the message "...\CodeCleaner.xla"
could not be found.

How do I get it to forget where they used to be located and look in the new
location? I tried re-loading them from the new location, but that did not
work.

I assume that you're not using the add-in manager, so my guess is that you
have a broken shortcut in one of the two excel start locations...one is the
default, the other set in your Tools/Options/General page
?
Unless you have some start-up code that's trying to access that file - maybe
a button has been set to it?

In 2003 and earlier you would go to Tools>Add-ins and select the add-in then
Browse

In 2007 Orb>Excel Options>Add-ins>Manage>Browse
