I've been waiting ten years for this option to be added. It seems so simple
and should be a no-brainer. People are not always at their computer when an
appointment comes due. The ability to send an e-mail (to any valid e-mail
address) would allow them to get the reminder on a cell phone, via a webmail
account, on a PDA/pager etc. The little pop-up window is nice but is only
useful if you are at your computer. If you're at your computer then you can
look at your days' schedule directly...

Besides, Lotus Notes has it :-) It you want to do a one-up on Notes,
provide the option to e-mail an entire range of the schedule. Suppose I'm
out of towm for a week and I want my daily schedule e-mailed to me every
morning...

What an uncharacteristic response from Microsoft who generally adopts the
opinion of "we can do it better than anyone else, and if not, we'll just buy
your company..."

I think this is a good suggestion that will take very little effort to
implement. I'm a little baffled that you would point me to third party
solutions that may, or may not, work with future versions of Outlook. I was
making a suggestion, not looking for an immediate fix. I know there are
add-ons that can provide this fucntionality. I was simply suggesting that
you might want to include it as a new feature in upcoming versions...

I don't work for Microsoft. Your post made no mention of the fact that you
knew of third party tools. I simply wanted to point you in the direction of
said tools in case you didn't know of them.
