I seem to have a huge autocomplte list but I donot have all
of them in my contacts in Outlook 2002. I wanted to create
a backup of all my contacts. How can I create a .csv file of
all the contacts in the _autocomplete_ list?

In other words how can I add all the email addresses in the
autocomplete list to the contacts? I think it is in some
..nk2 file not sure.

TIA.

The autocompletion cache does not reside in Contacts. It is a separate file.
There is no supported way to transfer the list, but some are reporting that
if you rename the NK2 file in your current profile, rename the old NK2 file
to match the one you just renamed and move it into the same folder, you will
have your "cache back."

But I intend to do more with the "cache" like search for
"contacts" etc. which cannot be done unless I transfer the
"cashed contacts" into the REAL contacts. I would like to
know if there is a way to do this. Some plug in some way...

TIA.

No such tool I know of. The NK2 file is inaccessible. The only thing I know
of is some code that will automatically add people you reply to your
Contacts Folder.

I already went through that site... :)

If some such thing comes up do send me an email.

Thanks and bye.
