add and remove programs not removing office trial

hello

I'm having trouble removing an office 2003 trial from my computer

it seems to be nolonger on my computer but still appears in the add and
remove programs list but when i click to remove it tries to install itself
and freezes my comp for a few minutes

I also keep recieving updates for office because of this that never install
and my computer keeps shuting down inorder to finish installation that will
never happen

I have tried phoning and e-mail microsoft office help line /update helpline
etc but they refuse to help because it was a trial version that has messed up

please help i have been trying to sort this out for weeks

so far i have tried removing it in run> regedit.exe and have removed
microsoft ... office and MSe files

and also in proggram files i have removed the office folder

but the office trial 2003 still remains in the add and remove programs list
and i still recieve updtaes for it that don't fully install

It looks as if your previous uninstall did not complete properly for
whatever reason. You can try reinstalling office, reboot and then uninstall
again and reboot again.
