Hello all,

I have Access 2000 which has a number of sample databases. One of the
is called CONTACT.

When I open CONTACT in the FORM view, there is a button marked AD
REMINDER.

When pressed, this button allows me to set reminders on a calendar an
write a specific note for each one.

I would like to put an ADD REMINDER button in my own database forms bu
I'm new to Access and don't know how to do it. Can somebody help me?

Many thanks,

Simon

That's hard to do without knowing the structure of your database. The
easiest way would be to copy the process from the sample db into your own
db. Open the sample database, then open the form with the button in design
view. Study the code behind that button and then emulate it in your own
database. You may have to create tables, queries, etc in your own database,
if they are used to create that particular bit of functionality in the
sample database.
