add an account

Help....

I don't know what I am doing anymore trying to add my e-mail account so that
I can view and reply.

I can figure out what the correct IMAP or POP3 and SMTP are. I don't what
is which anymore... my head is killing me from trying for the past 2 hours!

My provider is bellsouth.net.

Have you checked their websoite for the mail server settings in their
support pages?

Seriously though, is the IMAP the little address on the left hand corner of
my e-mail that reads mwebmail.bellsouth.net?

okay let me ask this instead... under Tools, in accounts there are properties.

what do I put in the IMAP? what goes in the STMP?

should my incoming and reply address be the same?

also, what is the root folder that is being asked under the STMP tab in
properties.
