In some of our older XP Pro SP2 images the task scheduler service was removed
for security reason. I am not sure why it just wan't disabled, but now I
have a deveolper who needs the service. I have tried adding the service
using by adding svchost.exe -k netsvcs. That adds a service but not anything
that will make Scheduled Tasks work. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you

I really appreciate your help I have been researching this problem
unsuccessfully for a week. I tried doing just that thing. At the cmd I
typed sc.exe create "Task Schedule" binPath= "c:\windows\system32\svchost.exe
-k that created a new service called Task Scheduler, but the service can
not be started. I think I need to do something else with the binpath but I
don't know what. Thanks again
