All three ! One is rarely enough and they all should be available to you.

I'm not familiar with Spydoctor but I've been running AdAware and SpyBot
since my first hijack experience in 2002. I use them as on demand
scanners so I've never had any conflicts.

While they overlap a lot but they also check for some different
problems. That's why many people have both of them. For example, I'm
using NOD32 as a full time scanner. I keep a number of copies of the
Eicar Test File on my systems, uncompressed, single and double
compressed.

NOD32 sends out virus warnings when AdAware tries to access the Eicar
Test Files. Nothing happens with a SpyBot scan. I usually run AdAware
1st then Spybot.

Pros: They do a good job and they have regular updates plus they're
FREE! ( I send SpyBot a donation from time to time and I'd like to
encourage other to do the same).

Cons: From time to time there have been some updates and new signature
that created conflicts but these were corrected in short order, unlike
many commercial products.

May I add some other favorites, not strictly spyware I suppose, but have been
found useful to me in the past few months.

HELP: http://www.definitivesolutions.com/files/bhodemon20help.html

Think of BHODemon as a guardian for your Internet Explorer browser it protects
you from unknown Browser Helper Objects (BHOs), by letting you enabledisable
them individually. It also monitors your Registry and alerts you when a BHO is
installed. Best of all, BHODemon knows about the most common BHOs - the good
ones, and the not-so-good ones!
BHODemon is free, runs in the tray area, and works on Windows 95 or later
operating systems (in other words, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows
ME, Windows NT4, Windows 2000, and Windows XP).

CWShredder v2.1.5 free

Even if your PC has Ad-aware and Spybot Search & Destroy, you still can't
stop some versions of an insidious and virus-like pest called CoolWebSearch.
Fortunately, a Dutch student who goes simply by the name Merijn wrote a
tiny free tool called CWShredder that specializes in removing dozens of CWS
variants. InterMute bought the program and now maintains it as a standalone
download and bundled with SpySubtract Pro

Tried the free version Spy Doctor this week to clean out a computer and it
picked up things that the others didnt... usual story. But... and I didnt
see away around this... admin privilages are needed to run it. This even
includes the automatic stuff. Thats not much help if admin is used only
rarely and those that use the computer 90% of the time are not given such
access.

But maybe I missed something ;o)
