AdAware SE update?

Is anyone else having trouble updating AdAware SE today? It doesn't
seem to connect to the Lavasoft server. Spybot and Avast! seem to be
working fine.
 
Yes, I can't get through either.

I also experience a problem. I get an error message 'The downloaded
definitions file could not be read, please update again'

Ian,

It took me an hour this afternoon and several tries. Finally got
defs.ref updated Today, January 4, 2006, 1:47:18 PM. You may have
trouble until after prime time.

BTW, your sig delimiter is missing a space.

Probably just a glitch with LavaSoft's servers. I've seen this
happen every once in a while.
 
I had trouble updating too so I downloaded a Zip version available at:
http://download.lavasoft.de.edgesuite.net/public/defs.zip

After the download unzip it and just copy "defs.ref" to the main
AdAware folder overwriting the existing defs.ref.

Thanks. I found that but wasn't sure how to use it. Finally went to
their FAQ page, followed the procedure of deleting the existing
defs.ref and trying the download again. It worked that time so all
is well.

Adaware back to normal now. Regular DL worked for me this morning
