adapter to convert monitor port to video out?

Hello -

I apologize if this is being addressed to the wrong group. I know
it's more of a general issue and not too much ATI-specific.

I am wondering if there is an adapter that plugs into the monitor
port on a PC and converts the outgoing signal to s-video and / or
composite video.
