I moved some folders around and can't seem to get my Monitor working right
(the display). I have a new hard drive someone installed for me and I can't
go 'back to square one'. Obviously I am not real smart when it comes to this
stuff, but I'm pretty sure that my adapter driver needs to be reinstalled.
Can I do this myself or do I need to take it in...did I mention I'm broke?
If you can help me...talk really slow and use language I can understand. I
make a mean German Chocolate Cake...I'm just not to computer savvy. Thanks,
Jamie PS. I'm using XP

Go to the computer manufacturer's web site and find the drivers page for
your model of computer. Most larger manufacturers (Dell, HP, Gateway) will
actually search the computer for the build of the computer and offer the
proper drivers. Download and install your video adapter driver. You may
want to ensure that you have all the other drivers also.

If this won't work because of the make of the computer, download Belarc
Advisor http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html and install it. This
program will give you thorough information on the devices you have installed
on your computer. You can then go to the manufacturer of the video adapter
and possibly download the driver for your video card.

Any further help needed, please give the make and model of your computer at
least.
