I recently upgraded my system to a full version of Windows
2000. I also downloaded the latest drivers for the
Adaptec AHA-2940 Ultra Wide. The computer recognizes the
presence of the board, but it is unable to identify the
type. In addition, when the computer boots up, it never
acknowledges that I have 3 ultra wide SCSI hard drives in
a separate tower. I've tested the cable connecting the
card to the drives, and there is no problem there. (When
I was using Windows 98 second edition, I had none of these
problems.) When I try to install the drivers, I get this
error message: This device cannot start. (Code 10). I
need help desperately! Any advice would be greatly
appreciated!
