You twice write "Adacity". That has a variety of hits with Google, including
a Hungarian forum at http://www.adacity.com/.

Do you happen to mean "Audacity", freeware sound editor? I see you asking
about that here before (at
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...9ef-b196-56e62ea5fe11&lang=en&cr=US&sloc=&p=1),
again misspelling the name in the subject line.

The team seams to be open to contact, judging from
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/contact/. But it is a project by volunteers
in their spare time, so it might take longer to process mail. But not that
long.

I suggest that you try to contact the Audacity team once again, but using
Copy&Paste to make sure that any typos are not yours.

OK, copy the lame_enc.dll file into this folder as well as the Audacity
folder :

c:\windows\system32

Does that work ? You have two possibilities of where to put the file. If you
have it in both folders it should work.

Open up your wav file in Audacity > Edit > Select > All > then File > Export
Selection > you should then have the option to select mp3's in a drop down
box "Save as File Type" > Click the button Options to change the bit rate >
OK and it should convert to mp3 files.

Also try : Edit > Preferences > Audio Files > then in the MP3 Export Library
Location use the Browse button to point Audacity to either of the two
mentionned above. Did that work ?

After edit, preference I do not see audio files....Couldn't find MP3 Export
Library and the options button..In the file type box it says song name.mp3
but when I hit save the Audacity response box says "Audacity can't on its
own import MP3's and refers to lame again..Should I forget all this and
download the Beta version or isn't it stable?..I installed a copy of lame to
c:\windows\system32..Thanks....Nick
